Obituary of David Sweet

Obituary David Turner Sweet, of East Lansing, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, to the late Beverly Sweet and the late Douglas Sweet, passed away at age 60 on August 23, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary for graduate school in 1985. He was a pastor until retiring in 2017. David was the loving husband of Emmalee Sweet. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Sweet. David is survived by his sons, Joseph Sweet and Noah Sweet; daughters, Lydia Lozano and Madalyn Skeeles; brothers, Jonathon Sweet and Jason Sweet; sister, Elizabeth Alvord; and grandchildren, Turner Lozano, Attalia Lozano, Layla Skeeles, and Emilia Skeeles. David enjoyed writing. He was a member of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, and he was involved in Payson Area Writers. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jason Schmidt, on Saturday, September 1st with a 10:30 a.m. viewing, 11:00 service and luncheon to follow at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8845 N Silverbell Rd, Tucson, Arizona, 85743.
