Obituary of Mary Marlena Keen

Obituary Mary Marlena Keen After 71 years of love, family and countless memories, Marlena joined her Heavenly Father and beloved husband John on September 11th, 2019. She was the most amazing Mom, Nani, Sister, Auntie and Friend. Marlena was born to Delbert and Elizama Bridgeman on April 26, 1948. After the passing of her father she was blessed with a wonderful stepfather, Oren Brazeal. Raised in Santa Fe, she made homes in Arenas Valley NM, Silver City NM, Deming NM and most recently Tucson AZ. Marlena accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1974 and was faithful in her love for God and her church, always willing to share the gospel, a song or bible verse. She was very passionate about missionaries and did everything she could to show her support. Marlena had so much love and unrelenting support for her family. She had a big heart and also loved her work friends at Walmart, her church friends in Santa Fe and at Desert View Baptist Church, and pretty much anyone she met. She loved spending quality time with you watching Hallmark Christmas movies, Murder She Wrote, and Perry Mason. She loved working in her garden and spending time in the backyard visiting with friends and family to all hours of the night. Although she was ready to go home she left us all with a void that can never be filled. Her 3 daughters Michelle Camarena (AZ), Tiana Keen (AZ), and Jennifer Keen (CO). Her grandchildren, Mike, Marcus (Brittany), Matthew (Apryl), Tyler, Johnnie Ray, Gabriela, David and Noelle. Her great-grandson, Ayden. Her sister, Cynthia Bridgeman, brother, Ron Brazeal (Sandy) and countless other family members and friends that she cherished. She hasn’t left us. The invaluable lessons learned from her will forever remain in our hearts. Her morals, traditions and above all, her love will be forever etched in our lives and the lives of future generations. Her unwavering faith will lift us when we are down, her strength will carry us through the rough times and her silliness will make us laugh when it seems impossible to smile. A Memorial service will be held Sept 28th at 11:00 AM. 4991 W. Didion Dr., Tucson AZ. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mary Marlena Keen, please visit our floral store.
