Obituary of Kimberly Dawn Pelphrey

Obituary Kimberly Dawn Pelphrey also known as “Mimmie” by her nieces and nephews and as “Kimmie” to many friends, 49, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on July 26, 2019. She was born on May 15, 1970 at Beale Air Force Base, California. She attended Santa Rita High School. Kim is preceded in death by her father, Gary Pelphrey. Survived by her mother, Nancy Pelphrey, her sisters Teresa and her husband Todd Marlow and Tracy Baumer along with nieces and nephews. Kim was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt which is the title she loved most. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Kim was a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan! She had fulfilled one of her dreams by watching the Steelers a couple of years ago play at Heinz Field thanks to her dear friends Jen and Frank. Kim had a heart of gold and touched many, many lives which is obvious by all the friends she had. Somehow, she always managed to keep in touch with ALL of them. Kim also loved to bowl; traveling to Las Vegas frequently for tournaments. Thank you to all the phenomenal staff at Peppi’s House for the amazing care you gave Kim in her last days. There will be a Celebration of Life for Kim on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Frank’s Sports Grill & Bar, 7930 E. Speedway Blvd, Tucson, 85710. Please come share your fond memories and happy, silly stories you may have. Kim would want us all to have a good time and to be laughing. Let’s honor Kim the way she would want us to!
