Obituary of Fernando Robles

Obituary FERNANDO ROBLES, 61, beloved husband, father and Tata, drew his last breath April 5, 2019 peacefully in the comfort of his own home. His life was well lived and he was well loved! Born in Tucson, Arizona, on January 25, 1958, Fernando spent his life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful and loving man. He was a steelworker since graduating from Cholla High School in 1976 and fabricated for many structural steel projects. His most cherished role however, was being a Tata to his grandchildren. We believe he is with his two grandsons in heaven, Angel Rene Ramos & Damian Nathaniel Ramos. He enjoyed eating sandwiches, savoring paletas with his grandkids and adding ketchup on everything. He was known as the French Fry King and Churro Dude in Utah where he and his wife owned and operated Zona Barrio Grill. Riding his Victory motorcycle was Fernando’s greatest delight and his truest image in our memories. And that is how he wanted us to remember him – strong and full of life, not as one defeated by his battle with prostate cancer. He had a long-standing relationship with God and to his last breath he clung to his faith in Jesus. His Yaqui heritage and his participation as a ceremonial Sundancer also played an important role in his spiritual life. Fernando is survived by his devoted wife Sandra (his best friend since the third grade), his loving daughter Valerie (Hector) Trujillo from his first marriage to Dorothy Robles, Stepsons Enrique Figueroa, Orlando (Jazmine) Ramos, Edward (Andrea) Ramos and Stepdaughter Vanessa Figueroa, Grandchildren, Michelle, Arisa, Cara and Hector Trujillo, Fabian Puente, Jazlene and Abel Ramos, Brother, Robert Robles, Utah “son”, Hiram Chairez, Best Friend, Victor Salazar, faithful dog, Moe Robles and many extended family members and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Martha Robles and sister Anna. Fernando will be forever remembered for his jokes, beautiful smile, puppy dog eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. All are welcome to attend a public memorial for Fernando on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Grace Point Church, 2555 W.
