Obituary of Irene Ringer Morgan

Obituary Irene Ringer Morgan, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2018 at the age of 86 years old. Born in New York, New York, Irene and her family moved to Glendale, AZ when she was just two years old when her father "fell in love" with an old Sugar Beet Factory. She loved to hike in the desert and travel. While she preferred taking trips domestically, her all time favorite place to visit was Switzerland (she went a total of three times with her hiking club). She enjoyed traveling with her family as well, taking yearly trips with her daughter and granddaughters to Kenab, UT to visit her good friend Joyce. Irene was at her best at the Ocean, almost every year she would join her daughter, Phyllis, and family to take a trip to Redondo beach, CA and walk along side the ocean as much as she could. Above all, Irene loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren the best. She looked forward to every holiday, whether it was BBQ on July 4th or Hanukkah with Phyllis or Christmas in Benson with her son, Jackie and family. She is predeceased by her brother, Jonas and son David, who we know she has surely been reunited with. Irene is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (husband, Erin) and son, Jackie (wife, Candy) as well as her grandchildren, Heather, Jared, Rachel and Jacqueline, her 5 great-grandchildren, her cat Catalina, and her beloved dog Riley. Irene was very loved and will be greatly missed, but we can be at peace knowing she is no longer in her frail body and she is able to do all of things she recently couldn't do. We can be sad for those who are left behind but be happy for her and the reunion she is having in heaven with those who she has not seen in many years.
