Obituary of John P Guerrero

Obituary John P. Guerrero, Sr. (aka: Mop, Big John, the Mango King, Big Papa) passed away at age 67 on May 20. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Juanita Guerrero and his mother, Clotilde (Tillie) Portillo. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 21 years, Colleen; three sons, the loves of his life: John (Amanda), James (Sara), and Jeremy; six grandchildren: Jessica, Gabriel, Alex, Laura, Charlize, and Autumn, and one great-grandson, Zayden. He is also survived by two siblings, Julie (Eugene) Wanat and Jesus Portillo, and their children. John was a colorful character and man of many talents. He lived out many adventures that young boys only dream about: cowboy, deputy, fireman, bounty hunter... He was a true friend who will be dearly missed. A small memorial was held on June 3rd at Kennedy Lake, and his ashes will be scattered at Rincon Creek Ranch where he worked as a cowboy in his youth.
