Obituary of Christopher Dale Basinger

Obituary Christopher Dale Basinger, age 46, joined his brother Jake in Heaven on September 4th, 2019. Chris was born on April 3rd ,1973 in Tucson, Arizona to his parents Ron and Terry Basinger. He was a 1991 graduate of Mountain View High School. He attended Pima Community College where he received an EMT certification, he then went on to receive an LPN from Cochise College. He worked for over 20 years in the family business as a Union Insulator. Chris was a hell of a man, a big ol’ teddy bear with a heart of gold. He loved spending time with his son Ethan. You could find them on the baseball field on most given days. If not on the field, they were exploring the outdoors while blasting country music driving down old dirt roads. We didn’t have Chris here with us for as long as we wished, but we loved Chris so much and we know that he loved us all. He is now residing in Heaven, catching up on missed time with his big brother Jake and keeping an eye on all of us down here. Chris is survived by his son Ethan, father and mother (Ron and Terry Basinger), big sister (Colleen Basinger), little sister (Shana Hayes) as well as a giant extended family of both relatives and friends. A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church on September 16, 2019. The celebration will start at 2:00 pm, to be followed by a reception at the Basinger residence.
