Obituary of Jose Rene Pinuelas

Obituary Jose Rene Pinuelas (Cuate) from Tucson, Arizona, passed away on May 13, 2019 at the age of 74. He is predeceased by his mother Maria, his daughter, Bernie and son, Michael. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, his children, Mary Ann, Mark, Rene, Bossie "Rene", and Antonio, his 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; his sisters Rosa Aguilar, Rachel Valenzuela, Dora Cota, Martha Avechuco and Terry Delgado. He love to joke around with his many nieces and nephews by playing practical jokes and telling outrageous stories of old legends. Cuate was an outdoors man, a wanderer in his beloved desert, he loved raising goats, chickens, pigeons, turkeys and anything he could get his hands on. He took great pride in his garden, planting corn, melons, zucchini, tomatoes - anything he could eat and share. He fought a brave battle in the last couple of years, The Man, The Myth, The Legend, A real Lady's Man. The mass will be Friday, May 24th at 10:00am in the Santa Monica Roman Catholic Church, 212 W Medina, Tucson, AZ. There will be a luncheon in his honor right after mass at St. John's United Methodist Church, 60 W Veteran's Blvd, Tucson, AZ.
